The first “AI in Business Processes – Regular Meetup Augsburg” demonstrated that the topic has gained traction in many companies across the region. We were delighted that participants from various industries came together and engaged in a lively discussion: about concrete applications of AI in everyday business, current hurdles to implementation, and how AI is already being used in the business world or is just beginning to find its way into existing processes.
We found the mix of perspectives particularly exciting. In addition to fundamental questions about the introduction of AI, there was also technical discussion, concrete experiences with tools, and many practical considerations regarding where AI can already help lighten the workload today. It is precisely this combination of practical relevance, openness, and an honest exchange of experiences that we hope to continue fostering through the roundtable.
Discussion on AI in Business Processes
The meetup is intended to remain an open forum for people from companies in the region who want to explore AI in their day-to-day work. The focus is not on abstract visions of the future, but on concrete questions arising from business processes: Which recurring tasks can be usefully supported? Where can existing tools help? What data, interfaces, and workflows need to work together to turn an idea into a useful process?
The goal is not to present ready-made answers, but to work together to better understand what works in practice. The discussion thrives on diverse experiences: from initial experiments and successful small-scale solutions to technical questions—as well as the uncertainties and stumbling blocks that are an inevitable part of implementation.
Moving on to the Next Round
Here at Sensetence, we want to explore how AI can help businesses move forward in concrete ways, integrated into their existing workflows. We find it particularly exciting to examine how AI solutions can be meaningfully connected with software, data sources, and processes to deliver real benefits in day-to-day work.
Our first meetup confirmed that there is a lot of interest in the region, many questions, and already valuable experiences to share. That is why we are looking forward to continuing this exchange, learning about new perspectives, and working together to further explore what AI can realistically achieve in business processes.
